THE PACIFIC ISLANDER ASSOCIATION IS ONE OF SEVERAL ORGANIZATIONS THAT STUDENTS CAN JOIN AT LONG BEACH STATE.
Students will find varied services and amenities on campus that will enable them to succeed. For instance, there are three residential colleges with stocked dining halls, more than 300 clubs and organizations, and a large recreation center.
The coeducational Beachside College, Hillside College and Parkside College provide a comfortable and unique living experience, with single (Hillside), double (all) and triple (Beachside) occupancy and where students can socialize, study and be a part of campus culture.
COLLEGE ASSISTANT MIGRANT PROGRAM (CAMP)
CAMP services for students of migratory or seasonal farmworkers include counseling, tutoring, skills workshops, financial aid stipends, health services and housing assistance to eligible students during their first year.
STUDENT RECREATION AND WELLNESS CENTER
The Student Recreation and Wellness Center is a hub for recreational activities, programs and opportunities for intramural sports, fitness and wellness.
The University Library, which includes the Spidell Technology Center, provides a variety of services in addition to supporting the instructional and research needs of our faculty, students and staff.
The Veterans Services Office helps veterans earn a degree by offering educational benefits they earned while serving in the armed forces.
DISABLED STUDENT SERVICES
More than 1,500 disabled students are aided by the office of Disabled Student Services, a support program that assists students with their disabilities as they work toward their degrees.
Residential Dining Services offers a quality and diverse food service program designed to meet the needs of students in each of the residential college halls. Residents with special dietary needs will be accommodated.
